Welcome To Homeless Care

Homeless Care is a charity set up to provide care and facilities for young adults who have been in State Care and now find themselves homeless.

Changing ‘lives’ of the youth of Kildare

Few of us are satisfied with retreating from the world and just thinking about ourselves.

You can make a difference

There are many ways to support our work in providing help and support to young adults in need!

Providing a transition from state care to interdependent living

Tiglin

Tiglin is a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity (CHY11596) which has been selected as the service provider for the new Homeless Care Facility.

We Need Your Help

We are tantalisingly close to having this project up and running by December of this year, but unfortunately there is a shortfall of €350,000. We have successfully raised over 90% of our target to date, but urgently need your help in order to open our doors. To bridge this shortfall we have designed three packages that we would like to share for your consideration.

Our aim is to provide comprehensive services to young people, who have been through the State Care system to help:

  • Develop life and coping skills to enable them to reach their full potential.
  • Provide suitable and secure accommodation in preparation for and prior to reintegration into the community.
  • Integration into the local community with ongoing outreach support.
